Pierre Ambrogiani (1907-1985) was born in Corsica, he settled in Marseille. Baptized "the taste of colors", he quickly became one of the great figures of Provençal Art of the 20th century. This nude is well between Fauvism (by the intensity of its colors) and expressionism (by the realism of its vision). This work painted on panel is in very good condition.
