Pretty box veneered on all sides (including the bottom) with burl walnut, Empire / Restoration period. Keyhole formed of a brass shield, drop handle on the lid. State of use, with small restorations, a lack of veneer on the underside. Lock with its key, but not functional. Interior lined with wallpaper. Dimensions:
