"Italian Mirror: Carved Wood Lace, XIX Eme Century.

Beautiful Italian mirror from the Napoleon III period, perhaps Florence, Tuscany, at the end of the second half of the XIX th century this mirror consists of a very beautiful rosette carved and gilded with gold, forming a crown of lace.
The carved wood is extremely fine and forms a stylized fretboard rosette alternating with acanthus leaves.
the crown formed a frame in its own right and was later arranged as a mirror.
the set is superb and very decorative.

dimensions:
64 cm in diameter and 30 cm for the mirror, more than 5 cm thick.
