Paule Theunissen Belgian School (Liège) Born in Chênée in 1913 and died in 2004. This is an oil on panel signed and dated 1963. It is large 80x100 cm, in perfect condition and of great freshness of colors. The work has a new quality frame on an oak wood panel. This composition is all the more desirable as Paule Theunissen left very few abstract works. She was trained at the Academy of Liége and gradually approached the surrealist movement. His compositions are powerful, but sensitive. She applies the paste with firmness and generosity. She exhibited at the Royal Circle of Fine Arts in Liège in 1956, 1960 and 1963. Works at the Museum of Walloon Art in Liège.
