Rare Small Alcove Or Cabinet Chandelier Circa 1830

Description:
Chiseled gilded bronze and “canon” patina.
This small chandelier borrows the decorative vocabulary of the Renaissance. The constituent elements are openwork, adorned with leaf scrolls, pearls and small gadroons. The binets are guilloche and surrounded by a frieze of leaves.
The counter cups, part of the barrel, the bulb of the base are in bronze with a patina with green and steel reflections, like that of certain guns of the same period. The ceiling rose takes up the same motifs and a chain with elaborate links, but this light is an almost “precious” object.
The habitat having changed after 1850 with the large bourgeois houses, the Haussmann buildings and in fact the habits of life, this type of quality lighting but of very small size became obsolete and only interested the scrap dealers.
That's why they are very bareaa.
Condition:
Excellent condition, has been electrified, it is invisible in situation and the installation which was well done can however be reused.
