Great chronicler of the 20th century of the popular districts of Lyon and its surroundings before the triumph of concrete. Even so, you can still find little pockets of houses like this scattered around Gerland. Chapuy might be called the "Lowry of Lyon" except that the Lyonnais had a better technique than the Englishman.
