1ST EMPIRE/CONSULATE, light cavalry officer's saber, XVIII°-XIX° period with scabbard. Gilt bronze frame. Pommel with cap called melon side with short asymmetrical skirt. Ebony spindle plates, checkered and grooved vertically, see details on the photos. Joining arch with median decoration, bordered by a vertical net and straight and inflected cruise ending in a quillon in the shape of a cone. Mumps in shuttle n lined with net. Slightly curved blade with a blade arrow of 4 cm. Blade with flat back with central pan, formerly blued and gilded (rest) with 1 cutting edge and counter-edged point. Remaining engraving on 1st third of the blade. Blade with wear mark, gilding and blued almost disappeared. Blade tie present. Black leather scabbard with 2 brass fittings. Button chape and long snap with protective dart, damaged leather stitching.
