"Richly Carved Sixteenth-century Lombard-venetian Chest."
Interesting chest entirely in dark walnut produced at the end of the 16th century in the Lombardy-Veneto area. The small piece of furniture has a front beautifully carved with lozenges and various orders of frames thickly carved with floral scrolls and other decorative motifs frame the noble coat of arms in the centre. The top is a single table and the base is grooved along the entire perimeter of the mobile, while the sides left simple keep the handles of the time. Unfortunately over time, as often happens, the feet have been lost and others have been mounted later.
The measurements of the chest are: 129cm long x 48cm high x 51.5cm deep
In good condition of conservation.
