A very joly, lovely and small Art Déco fireplace, made during the 'Rouring Twenties', in France.Ca.1927. Made out of the French marbles Vert d'Estours, ivory-white and green, with beautiful Art Déco details in Griotte d'Campan and a marble Sienna. Every inch Art Déco!   It's not easy to find a beautiful Art Déco fireplace: the Art Déco-period was short: from 1920 till 1939. This period evokes that moment, when society was breaking with the past and racing towards the future. It was much admired by a select number of people who loved art and design.  The style is characterized by color, geometric figures, zig-zag lines, styled forms, modern artwork, designer lichting, art furniture and handcrafted accessoires.
