Legitimate daughter of King Louis XVI and Madame de Montespan, she is Duchess of Bourbon, then Princess of Condé.
This oil on canvas late seventeenth is close to the works of the workshops of the painter Pierre Gobert (1662-1744)
Of very good quality, the princess is represented here with her ermine coat.
She wears a hairstyle called Fontange very fashionable during the reign of Louis XIV.
The portrait is in very good condition.
It was formerly rentoilé, some small retouching almost invisible to the naked eye; the colors are fresh which gives it a perfect condition.
The period setting also has some small restorations.
