"Daum Glass "autumn Landscape""
Daum glass riverside decoration in autumn on a frosted background cleared with acid enhanced with enamel of a landscape of trees (willow, etc.) and a flock of birds. The rim is gilded with fine gold with a small fillet in perfect condition! This glass is not signed! (Deleted?) but the quality and finesse of the work can be attributed without a doubt to the decorator Émile Dufour, collaborator of Daum, eminently recognized by the quality of these works! This glass bears the inscription "Fougerolles", a town in Haute Saône famous for its production of cherries intended for the manufacture of kirsch. Period 1900, Art Nouveau style in excellent condition with no defects, cracks or lack of gilding.
