Very beautiful box with superb mythological decoration: "the fawn with the antelope", treated in the Art Deco style.
Excellent condition, no shock or accident, to finish cleaning, opens and closes perfectly.
Signed FR Thénot for François Maurice Thénot (1893-1963),
French sculptor and medalist, silver medal at the Salon of French Artists in 1936.
Inscription inside the cover, see photo.
“Bronze” hallmark and a cornucopia on the grip.
