Molds from the workshop of sculptor Jules Talrich (1826, Barcelona - 1904, Paris). Talrrich founded his first museum, the French Museum, in 1866. It attracted curious people and fans of the sensational who found there reproductions of organs, diseases, skulls and phrenological busts as well as celebrities: politicians, criminals and victims. Some plaster prints of the moulds, like the ones we offer, are kept at the Toulouse Natural History Museum. These are casts of a half-size production. 98cm tall.
