Neapolitan Christ in finely carved linden wood belonging to the first half of the 18th century.

The structure of the body is depicted with the accentuation of the muscles of the torso, as well as with the strong marking of the features of the face of this dead Christ.

The fineness of the drapery helps to give a certain lightness to the anatomy of the body in contrast with the suffering face.

Condition: One finger missing.

Provenance: Naples XVIII century.
