Table or pedestal table with central leg in Hollywood Regency style "Glamour Chic" created by Italian designer Romeo Rega in the 1970s.Structure of the cylindrical pedestal in chrome steel and polished brass, central shaft in polycarbonate (lucite or plexiglass).
Wear consistent with age and use, clean polycarbonate cylinder with no cracks or deep scratches. The current 130cm glass top is worn (no damage), possible to replace with a 110cm glass (in stock). Note, traces of oxidation on the foot, see image 10 (red arrow).

Romeo Rega (1904-1984) is an active Italian designer in the 1970s who combined combinations of modernism and glamor in his designs. From 1969, he embodies the Hollywood Regency style, producing lighting, chairs, tables, display cases... His furniture is characterized by subtly assembled geometric shapes in a modernist style with clean lines, made of chrome or gold metal, brass or brass plated, plexiglass, smoked glass... The allure and elegance are what make the reputation of "Rega" which would have worked with the designer of the stars Willy Rizzo (1928-2013) and Gabriella Crespi (1922- 2017). Numerous entertaining-oriented pieces such as coffee tables with display space and liquor cabinets, side tables, serving tables, shelves and decorative table lamps.
