Pair of decorative ewers forming gilded bronze cassolettes in Renaissance style. On a circular base in veined red marble, the ewer takes shape on a pedestal with acacia leaves. Body decorated with cherubs and butterflies. Base of the handle with the feminine mask and face of Diane de Poitiers with the cushioning at the level of the pouring spout. These ewers are in fairly good house condition. The gilding is faded in places and some cleaning scratches. Period late 19th century around 1890.
