"Rare Series Of Four Stone Columns From Saint Cyr To Mont d'Or"
Rare series of four stone columns from Saint Cyr au Mont d'or, cut in the 17th century, called "drum", with a barrel diameter of 43 cm. The canted capitals have two different sections: two in 65 cm square and two in 71 cm square. The frustoconical bases are 80 to 65 cm in diameter, one is chipped in the lower part. The good state of conservation of the whole is remarkable. The particularity of this stone is the inclusion of gryphees, the color of mother-of-pearl (mollusc close to the oyster having lived from the Upper Triassic to the Cretaceous, −237 to −201 million years ago).
