Object description :

"Suzanne Fricquegnon (1897-1982) - Cat Study - Pastel - 1920"
French school circa 1920, study of a cat signed lower right “S. Fricquegnon” for Suzanne Fricquegnon (1897-1982). Pastel on paper laminated to cardboard, bears on the back a label from the Salon des Femmes Peintres et Sculpteurs with indication of the title of the work in English “ my pussy cat : Misty ”. Ink stamp from the Salon of 1923. Old oak frame (without glass) with rib molding.

Cardboard dimensions: 33.7 x 64.3 cm
Framing: 40 x 71.5 cm

Condition report : good condition of the pastel, it is noted that the margins have been damaged by the framing (see photo n°4). Framing in good condition with a lack of molding of 2 cm.
