"Openwork Lace Plate"
We present this pretty openwork lace plate in the center of a large rosette, obviously sculpted on both sides. On one side two initials A - G certainly the first and last name of the lacemaker. It is made of walnut, in very good state of conservation. It was often the gentlemen who carved these plaques at the evening while the women of the house made lace on their tiles. (E23) No. 2
