Julio Peris Brell was viscerally attached to his city of Valencia. He has on several occasions been elected president of the painting section of the Circle of Fine Arts of Catalonia. He achieved great success in exhibitions organized by the Circle of Fine Arts, as well as in the exhibition "Pintura Catalana de Grans Mestres del segle XIX" (Catalan painting by the great masters of the 19th century) organized in Barcelona by Galeries Laietanes in 1931. has a street in his name in the city of Valencia, where he spent most of his life. Peris Brell painted numerous still lifes, portraits and landscapes, characterized by their original framing.
