Emile Cagniart:
Student of GUILLEMET, he participated in the Paris Salon from 1877, mid-out of competition in 1900, he became a member of the committee of This living room. His views of the Ile de France, the banks of the Seine, landscapes of the English Channel, but also in Belgium, show a more schematic, more simplified and modern vision than those of Guillemet. His snow and winter sun effects are often rendered in pastel.
