"Twelve Earthenware Tiles, Delft 18th Century."
This set is made up of three series of tiles painted in manganese color on a white background, they are of very similar dimensions, a first series of three tiles represents biblical scenes, a second of four tiles depicts passages from the New Testament according to Saint Matthew, Saint Mark and Saint Luke, and the third is painted with landscapes and scenes from daily life. The tiles laid end to end represent a length of approximately 150 cm which can make it possible to create a separation and an original decoration between two distinct surfaces, in good general condition they present, as we can see in the photos, some chips, chips and a small break on one corner. Dimensions for one 13.3 cm x 13.3 cm, for another 13.1 cm 13 cm, and for the last 12.8 cm x 12.8 cm.
