Superb pair of lions in solid bronze with black patina. The manes have been gilded with gold leaf, the finesse of the execution is notable both in the mouths and on the flanks of the lions. They have a leg resting on a globe which is itself golden. Dating from the 1950s/60s they adorned the entrance to a large property on the French Riviera. more photos on request
