Painter of landscapes, still lifes, flowers and fruits. He was a student of Antoine Vollon. He exhibited at the Paris Salon, from 1879, then at the Salon des Artistes Français; He obtained a 3rd class medal in 1876, a 2nd class medal in 1880, a bronze medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1889 and another at the Universal Exhibition of 1900.
