Antique Golden Console. Period 19th Century.

Antique Louis Philippe Neapolitan console in gilded and carved wood with red marble top.

The band under the top is a triumph of foliaceous husks, flowers and leaves, while a beautiful shell acts as a connecting "key" on the forehead.

A larger shell embellishes the connecting cross that joins the four feet.

The feet in the upper part have a dense carving with a leaf motif and end with an everted curl.

Condition: In good condition.

Provenance: Naples 19th century.
