"Cassone Or Walnut Chest, Renaissance Style, Italy 19th Century"
Walnut cassone or chest carved in the style of the Italian Renaissance, decorated with scrolls, dragons, characters. The bottom of the facade and the interior are enhanced with gilding. 19th century period. Note in one of the corners of the chest a figure was redone later, it is not in accordance with the rules of the art. The key is also missing.
