Magnificent old Kayseri in silk & wool decorated with 42 tree of life niches, making up the entire field, surrounded by a border of 36 lamp niches, alternated by trees of life. Carpet from Turkey in natural silk circa 1920-1930 with a density of 640,000 knots per M2, high quality piece with an unusual decor. Velvet, edges and fringes, very good condition.
The natural silk of this rug and its wool blend are in very good condition, the colors have remained shimmering and lively.
