"Small Fetish, Fang Gabon Ancestor Statue (see Byeri)"
Very interesting Fang fetish, they are often found in large ones which are then the famous guardians of reliquary, but here it is a statue supposed to bring protection and wealth through the ancestors, the style is very characteristic, with geometric members, the pout through the mouth forward, the copper eyes, it is well executed, with a very beautiful patina of use. Total height 30 cm, probably around 1940/50.
