Pewter PITCHER in baluster form with pedestal with straight and oblique base, goblet in straight heel, raised lid with flat roof and thumbtack with oak acorns. 
Ownership mark: P / lis / A.
Height: 17.4 cm.
TOULOUSE, 18th century.

Rare in origin and size, in perfect condition.
Let us recall in passing that these pitchers were the wine measures of the Ancien Régime.
This elegant shape with the characteristic lid of the Toulouse production is clearly of medieval inspiration.
