Portrait with different colored chalks of Antonio Tamburini (1800-1876), great bass baritone of the 19th century. He created a considerable number of operas by Donizetti, Bellini and Mercadante. The author of the drawing, Firmin Salabert (1811-1895) is a student of Ingres, specialized in drawn portraits of opera personalities, often reproduced in lithography. A portrait drawn by Antonio Tamburini by Firrmin Salabert is exhibited at the salon of 1834 under the number 1721, possibly this one.
