Beautiful Art Deco model designed by Luc Lanel for Christofle.26-piece cutlery set in silver metal including:
12 fish forks, 18.5 cm,
12 fish knives, 20.8 cm,
1 serving fork, 22.3 cm,
1 serving knife, 28.2 cm.
Very good condition, some visible scratches from use, but no silvering and very shiny cutlery.
Alfenide hallmark in full on all cutlery,
"OC" hallmark with horse's head for "Orfèvrerie Christofle".
Alfénide is a silver metal factory, created by Charles Halphen and bought by Christofle at the end of the 19th century.
In the 20th century, Christofle used this commercial brand to produce certain models that duplicated others in its range.
