"Old Gold Couture Embroidery Scissors With Enameled Case Palais Royal"
Superb early 19th century enameled vermeil scissor case with pair of gold branched scissors. Decorated with scrolls of foliage and flowers. One side of the case bears the enameled thought of the Palais Royal and on the other, it is marked "Friendship offers it to you". It is in very very good condition. Just a very slight dent on the part where you put the scissors. The pair of scissors has gold branches (6 cm) punched. The blades have oxidation tips. Case height: 8.5 cm Scissor size: 9.2 cm
