Traditional style rug bordered with shimmering colors. Hand-knotted in Safaveh, Hamadan province of Iran.Imported from Iran and made using the best weaving techniques. This rug is made of the highest quality hand spun sheep's wool. In Iran (ancient Persia), Afghanistan and Pakistan in particular, the wool is still spun by hand before the actual knotting of the carpet begins.
Wool has proven itself as a natural and extremely resistant material over the centuries. In particular, it has antifouling and thermal insulation properties.
At the same time, the wool is incomparably soft and has a natural sheen.
