Engraving of the coat of arms of the City of Toulouse circa end of the 19th century, signed A.Martin. The oldest representation of the arms of Toulouse is that appearing in the seal attached to a letter from the Capitouls to King Peter II of Aragon in 1211, during the Albigensian Crusade. - The church, by the Easter lamb which carries the Occitan cross, with to its right the Saint-Sernin basilica (façade with two doors, topped by the octagonal bell tower). - The Counts of Toulouse with the Narbonne castle located to the left of the Occitan cross. At the top, there are fleur-de-lys symbols of the city's attachment to the crown of France. Paper in good condition, framed
