Bronze Covered Vase Dedicated To The Pleasures Of Life, Bacchus, Wine Cup, 19th Century flag

Object description :

"Bronze Covered Vase Dedicated To The Pleasures Of Life, Bacchus, Wine Cup, 19th Century"
Very beautiful bronze object with brown patina. It is a wine cup very richly decorated with scenes dedicated to the pleasures of life. On 4 sides of the cup, are chiselled and sculpted totally different animated scenes. Love, Drink, Smoke and Dance. The lid is decorated with a dancing putti with grapes in homage to the god of wine Bacchus. This is a rare object on the market with great precision of carving. Good general condition, slight swinging between the cup and the pedestal because the threaded rod which holds the whole seems a little weak. Napoleon III period around 1860. Delivery 18 euros in France, 35 euros in the EU and 100 euros rest of the world.
