Magnificent intimate pastel in bright colors of yellow, blue and ocher. Very refined and delicate pastel.
The large format is very rare for this painter who worked mainly with small formats.

Student of Michel, Alexandre Cabanel and the genre painter EA Marsal.
He has exhibited regularly since 1880 at the Salon des Artistes Français of which he became a member.
Medalist at the Salons of 1891, 1892, 1893 and silver medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1900.
