Léon Dallemagne, born in 1837 in Belley and died in 1907 in Bourg-en-Bresse[1], is a French painter who notably painted the landscapes of Ain, Bugey and Dombes. . He is close to other landscape painters such as Adolphe Appian, or even Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot, François-Auguste Ravier or even Charles-François Daubigny with whom he sometimes paints, particularly in Optevoz[2]. This painting is sold without a frame. Handwritten annotations on the back.
