Born in 1885 in Moscow, Georges Lapchine died in 1951.
He was a student of Fernand Cormon and Léon Lhermitte.
Strongly inspired by the Impressionists, his favorite subjects are the Provence, and winter's landcape of his natale Russian.
Active in France, he has exhibited in Paris at the "Salons des Artistes Français" and des "Indépendants" since 1925.
