PAIR OF COMMANDER SHOULDER PAULETTES, MODEL 1853-1870, THIRD REPUBLIC. Epaulets model 1853-1870, Third Republic, in silver and gold trimmings with large gold fringes called “spinach seeds”. Gilded brass naval anchor stapled to the body of each epaulet. Matte and shiny gold half-spherical buttons of the navy anchor. Black velvet lining. In its original box. Good condition with very slight traces of oxidation.
