Brass mounting with two secondary branches.
Beaded cap, riveted dome-button and short shank.
Handle covered with basane that has contracted over time, watermarked with twisted brass wires.
Rounded jointing arch, two secondary branches merging in the upper part of the arch, stamped.
Egg-shaped top with plain spout.
Blade with hollow front and gutter to the strong, signed "Manufacture d’Armes de Châtellerault Septembre 1877 Cavrie 1er Modèle 1822".
Sheet steel scabbard, one hoop ring, stamped and numbered.
