An antique brooch with 28 old Dutch rosette cut diamonds (round and irregular shape) set in filigree floral shape in a circle, in the realism trend of the mid-19th century. Naturalism, particularly fashionable at that time, was manifested in jewelry through intricate depictions of floral bouquets, twigs and leaves tied with ribbons and encrusted with precious stones. The gold brooch is made of 0.580 yellow gold with 0.900 silver elements, studded with 28 diamonds with a total weight of 0.80 ct.
