exceptional box in Limoges Blue oven porcelain and richly decorated with several friezes in double gold inlay polished with agate. The lid has a central decoration representing a bouquet of flowers entirely made with gold paste. Friezes decorated with foliage decorate and highlight this sumptuous work of exceptional refinement. This box comes from the Giraud-Brousseau workshops active from 1935 to 1967 in Limoges and Sauviat. This factory was renowned for high quality work. It bears the Limoges/France brand under its background accompanied by a helmet emblazoned with a badge (see photo).
