BICORN OF A JUNIOR NAVY OFFICER, Third Republic (late 19th or early 20th century). In black felt, highlighted with a large woven silk braid, representing a course of marine anchors inscribed in a garland of oak leaves. Strap formed by three matte gold twists, redoubling around a large-module golden uniform button for a naval officer stamped with an anchor. Interior of headdress in blue satin, marked in gold letters with the hatter's mark "Gautier Fils Toulon". Good general condition, with alteration of the inside of the hairstyle, visible in photo No. 7 and 8. size 55/56 cm.
