Early 20th century Oil on canvas mounted on a panel representing a young woman lost in thought lying near a book that she no longer reads. What is very interesting, among other things, is the composition of this painting with this oriental carpet in the background which covers both the bed and the wall, almost completely filling the space of the canvas. Very well matched recent frame.
