"Wrought Iron Transom Grille, 18th Century Period."
Beautiful and elegant ironwork for this transom grille. It has a rounded shape at the top with a central drop giving it rhythm. It is slightly rounded, giving it volume. Beautiful decoration of large volutes ending in windings and presenting in its middle, in a circular medallion and taken in a polylobed movement, an interlaced motif. The base is straight and rests on small scrolled feet.
Good condition.
The feet were brought back later.
