Her travels in North Africa and her meetings with the orientalist painter Etienne DINET, a family friend, shaped her personality. In the 1920s, after studying at the faculty of Algiers, she attended the School of Fine Arts and the Villa Abd-el-Tif where she became friends with famous artists of that time such as JOUVE or FOUJITA Numerous exhibitions both in North Africa and in Europe have made his work known and revealed a style which combines precision of rendering, softness of expression and liveliness of observation. In 1960 she left her native Algeria to settle in Cahors, where she breathed new artistic life. French television produced an interview film and in 1976, the Cahors town museum organized a retrospective of his work.
