"Nun's Canivet From The Second Half Of The 18th Century."
Nice nun's work called "Canivet" dating from the second half of the 18th century. This is composed in its center of an engraved base entirely enhanced with gouache and depicting "the last meal of Christ"; all around is a decoration of garlands of flowers and foliage very finely carved by the nuns using a small penknife (hence the name canivet). The whole is in very good condition and has retained very fresh colors, its beautiful carved wooden frame and its bubbled glass. NB: Shipping possible for France via Colissimo followed: 20 euros.
