Enamelled ceramic wall plaque representing a basket of fruit in light relief. Monogram Bottom left and signature on the back. Rosenthal Edition. Good condition with a loss on the back and two slight chips. 51 x 35 x 1.5 cm.
Renate Rhein (1925-2020) is a German artist who began her career as a painter. From 1954, she worked for the Rosenthal Manufacture, which collaborated with many illustrious creators. In 1961 she opened her own ceramic workshop in Worpswede.
