Rare and old devotional box to the child Jesus, circa 1800.
Sculpture of the young Christ made in wax, eyes in sulphide, dressed in fabrics embroidered with gold, silver thread and glass beads.
It rests on a bassinet and velvet cushion filled with crains.
The set is presented in its original polychrome carved wooden chest, with its deliciously openwork pediment.
The three windows which allow you to admire the sculpture are also original.
Good general state of conservation, presents wonderfully well.
