Important and spectacular Empire style Sterling Silver Soup Tureen raised on a spreading circular spreading foot, with noth the foot and lid decorated with an applied border of water leaves, and spectacular handles representing Swans with outstretched wings. The finial is in the form of of an exploded seed resting on a leafy terrace.
Very finely crafted from the finest quality silver, it is punched on body, lid and finial with the Minerve 1st Standard hallmark (.950) and carries the marks of reknowned Master Goldsmiths TETARD Frères, with their signature in full. This spectacular Empire style soup tureen is in excellent condition, furthermore serviced and cleaned by our Parisian Goldsmith, and just micro-scratches from use to note.
